Academic Forum
There will be two main forums during this ALSA Conference. During the forums, the delegates are able to mingle with the speakers regarding to topics given through the Q&A session.
Topic 1:
Similarities and Differences between International Humanitarian Law and International Human Rights Law
Despite being two different areas of law, International Humanitarian Law (IHL) and International Human Rights (IHR) share the communal aim of protecting people’s lives and well being. It is vital to understand how IHL and IHR interrelate to combat aggression and violence and to recognise their differences and separate functions, which is what our Academic Forum seeks to do! |
